4 'I' Self-Diagnostic Tool

The 4 'I Self-Diagnostic Tool helps companies identify areas of strength and improvement for strategic, sustainable and impactful corporate giving.

Turn good intentions into sound business practices. This 4 'I' Framework was referenced from Points of Light's The Civic 50 model, proving a robust framework for good corporate citizenship.

Esteemed businesses and academics, including Ms Caroline Brassard, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy have helped to shape the Company of Good 4 'I' Framework.

Looking to work with charities near you? Visit your nearest Volunteer Centre (VC). Volunteer Centres identify areas of need and channel resources to address them and plug the gaps effectively.

All 24 towns in Singapore have an operational VC to coordinate the development and deployment of volunteers and resources to meet community needs. This brings opportunities to donate and volunteer closer to all, be it where we live, work, or play.

Corporate Volunteer Scheme (CVS)

From 1 Apr 2023, the Business & IPC Partnership Scheme (BIPS) is renamed to the Corporate Volunteer Scheme.

To encourage corporate volunteerism, businesses may claim 250% tax deduction on qualifying expenditure incurred from 1 Jul 2016 to 31 Dec 2026 when their employees volunteer and provide services for Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs).

From 1 Jan 2024, the scope of qualifying activities has expanded to include activities conducted virtually or outside of the IPCs’ premises, and the qualifying expenditure cap per IPC will be increased to $100,000 per calendar year.
