The Company of Good Recognition System aims to recognise the contributions of organisations in Singapore for their commitment at the national level to corporate purpose and impact in the People, Society, Governance, Environment and Economic dimensions.
Central to this recognition system is harmonisation. Existing standards, marks and awards conferred on an organisation by the Singapore government and pertinent and global institutions will be considered. Strategically, this brings about the necessary coordination and integration of different standards, awards and marks in Singapore for organisations to be recognised for their holistic contributions at a national level.
Experts in the respective fields identified critical areas and provided valuable input to ensure the relevance and practicality of the enhanced recognition system. To this end, NVPC has been working in partnership with academic experts as well as ecosystem partners including the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UN GCNS).

The Simplified Questionnaire (15 Questions) consists of a section on Organisation Information as well as a brief section on Corporate Purpose and efforts in the 5 Impact Areas. Organisations that submit this questionnaire will be considered for 1-heart recognition.
The Full Questionnaire (58 Questions) consists of a section on Organisation Information as well as detailed questions pertaining to Corporate Purpose and efforts in the 5 Impact Areas. Organisations that submit this questionnaire will be considered for differentiated recognition. Additionally, organisations that demonstrate exemplary efforts in influencing stakeholders for multiplied impact may be shortlisted for interviews with the COG Recognition System Judging Panel in order to be considered for Champion of Good recognition.
It would be best if local data is available. If the specific data set is reported at the global level, please apportion it to your Singapore operations on a pro-rated basis.
Otherwise, your organisation may share these figures at a global level and indicate this under the ‘Remarks’ field after each section.
