Fellowship Impact Report

Since the programme was launched in 2017, the Company of Good Fellowship has nurtured business professionals in Singapore to lead their organisations in creating positive impact.

In line with the shift of the COG 2.0 strategy, the programme underwent transformative enhancements to help Company of Good Fellows unlock the power of their organisations' corporate purpose.

FAQ

Fellowship sessions typically run full-day and are in-person, except for mentoring sessions which can be flexible.

1. Applicants must apply for the Company of Good Recognition (before 30 Mar 2027) and participate in one of the following NVPC programmes (during or within 2 months from graduating):

a) Project V (structured corporate volunteering)
b) Utilising the impact tracker on giving.sg
c) NVPC's 'next generation talent' initiative, including mentoring and/or providing internships

Middle managers in HR, Communications, Organisational Development, Sustainability or any relevant role with influence to drive a company’s Corporate Purpose journey. Fellowship is relevant to MNCs, SMEs, Public Service Agencies and Institutes of Higher Learning.

The programme helps Fellows strengthen their organisations' value to the business and society, hence remaining relevant to consumers and other stakeholders. On a personal level, Fellows uncover how they can lead purposeful change in line with their unique strengths and styles.

Action Projects are interventions that target existing issues or opportunities in the organisation. Fellows will be guided to craft projects that bring about impact in one or more of the five impact areas (People, Society, Governance, Environment and Economic). Action Projects should not be unnecessary additions to their existing work. 

Fellows will be required to design and present a detailed plan of action at the end of Fellowship. The role of the judging panel is to give Fellows and their management valuable inputs to further enhance the likelihood of successful implementation. An ideal timeline is for the project to complete within 6 - 12 months from graduating.

No, the COG Fellowship programme is not a pre-requisite to being conferred as a Company of Good. However, organisations with Fellows have been observed to be more intentional with the impact they create. Close to 50% of the 78 organisations conferred as Champions in 2024 were those who have participated in Fellowship before.
